Beautiful restaurant.  Did the Mare Mare tasting menu with wine pairings.  It was perfect.

The atmosphere I willingly believe a little date, perhaps better renew some details. Excellent shops, excellent other dishes, generous portions, very kind staff.

A wonderful location for watching the sunset over Trieste harbour. Lovely food, which, despite the rather limited menu options, surprises with its sophisticated approach. The service was extremely professional, attentive and friendly. A fantastic place for a romantic dinner.

The restaurant was an exceptional place as a quality of service and the food was excellent.

The oldest Caffe in Trieste also holds its rank for lunch. We tried a classic primo (pasta) and secondo (fish for me, meat for my wife) and the 4 dishes were great. The Sacher dessert is  austrian quality worth and the caffes (a Ginseng and a classic espresso) were just great.

Absolutely impeccable service and food.  From start to finish the food and service was unbeatable.  The employee who wears glasses is an especially personable and knowledgeable young lady.  She smiled the entire evening and explained each dish in exquisite detail.  The chef came out and greeted us at the end.  This restaurant should be three Michelin stars.

This was our last night in Trieste and I could not think of a more spectacular way to celebrate our amazing time here. Every facet of this culinary jewel was pitch perfect&mdash;from the moment we entered until our last farewells, we were treated like royalty. Each bite astounded with both complexity of flavor and synchrony of presentation, bursting with gifts of ingenuity and delight like nothing we had ever tasted before. And I have no words for the wine&mdash;felt like divinely crafted libations. The service was impeccable&mdash;knowledgeable and gracious, making a distinct and deeply personal connection. Thank you, Harry&rsquo;s Piccolo, for giving my husband and I perhaps the best evening at any restaurant in our 48 years of marriage&mdash;we loved every single minute.

The Harry&#39;s Piccolo restaurant is not as small as the name refers. It is located in piazza Unita İtalia, the most beautiful piazza in Trieste. We had a tasting menu with 7 delicious little courses. Although it is said 7 courses in fact, we started with 5 little amuse boushes, each of which was havenly tasty and followed by a few more little bites and warm home baked bread that is served with both butter from Normandy and the best quality extra virgin olive oil, which was topped up if you wish to have more. We wede offered extra bread when we finished the first loaf. We were full already before the menu started being served. There were two types of tasting menu interaction, &#39;Sea... Sea... Sea&#39; and &#39;Interactions&#39;. We opted for the second. The first one was only fish whereas the other was mixed with fish and red meat like rabit, lamb, wuggby and sweetbread etc. The dessert was the best one. The service was to perfection. The staff was very well trained and friendly. They jept changing the napkins, giving wet tissues to clean the fingers. The wine selection was excellent. To us, this restaurant should have been three starred, not two. We have never been to such a good one. We are keen michelin restaurant consumers and went to many of them around the world but not like this. We believe the restaurant will be upgraded soon. Thank you to tge staff and the chef who came to greet us in the end of the dinner.

Interesting cooking with regional touch. Very spicy, some dishes overly spicy - comparable with Amador in Vienna two years ago. Menu highlight is the dessert - fruity, spicy and sweet in perfect combination. Service excellent. Wine list offers sufficient choices

We took the tasting menu, it was delicious and probably one of the best value for money tasting menus we&rsquo;ve ever eaten. Excellent service as well. The fish was very fresh and it was a very pleasant meal.
